This
cosmopolitan city of more than 4.3 million inhabitants has seen
many changes since 1793. Today, a diverse, multicultural population
has collaborated to make Toronto a city with many neighbourhoods
that come together as one. Whether it be history, science, economics,
theatre or fine arts, there is something to see and do for every
student group tour.

Depart
from your school. Arrive in Toronto. Your group will be greeted
by our Activities Director who will be with you for the duration
of your tour. Participate in a guided tour of Queens Park,
followed by a meeting with your school ridings Member of Provincial
Parliament. We recommend that students eat their bagged lunch (not
included) on the grounds of Queens Park. Attend Question Period
at Queens Park. Participate in a guided tour of the Royal
Ontario Museum. Check into your accommodation. Dinner is in a restaurant
(included). Attend a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game OR attend an
evening of theatre OR attend an impressive film presentation in
the IMAX Colossus theatre OR enjoy an evening of games at PLAYDIUM
OR enjoy dinner and entertainment at Medieval Times OR swim in your
hotels lifeguarded pool (all admissions extra and subject
to confirmation). Overnight. Evening security is provided exclusively
for your group each night from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Breakfast is in a restaurant (included). Visit the CN Tower for
a birds-eye view and orientation of Toronto. Visit one of
Torontos newest attractions, the Air Canada Centre or the
Hockey Hall of Fame. Students can purchase their lunch and shop
in the Eaton Centre. Participate in a guided driving tour of Toronto
and its neighbourhoods. Enjoy a guided tour of the Much Music Studios
in the CHUM/CITY Building on Queen Street West (subject to availability).
Visit the Ontario Science Centre to participate in many of the hands-on
exhibits and activities. Dinner is in a restaurant (included). Continue
with evening options as outlined on
DAY ONE. Overnight.
Breakfast is in a restaurant (included). Enjoy a guided tour of
the Art Gallery of Ontario (A.G.O.). Students can purchase their
lunch at Village By The Grange. Depart for your school.

An optional trip to the Niagara Region can be incorporated.
Curriculum Notes: Toronto is an ideal destination for a tour that
describes the origin and development of English settlement in Canada
during the late eighteenth century. Students will learn more about
the significance of the War of 1812 for Canadian/American relations
and be able to evaluate the social, economic and political changes
that occurred in Upper and Lower Canada as a result of the rebellions.
Note: This is only a sample itinerary. All tour features are
