Depart
from your school. En route, your Activities Director will keep your
students active and involved. Students will get a first-hand view
of amalgamation, urban sprawl, the Canadian Shield and more as they
pass through the various areas. Arrive in Espanola. Participate
in workshops at the E.B. Eddy Paper Mill and including the Silviculture
Trail (Model Forest). Arrive in Sudbury. Check into your accommodation.
Dinner is in a restaurant (included). Enjoy bowling or swimming
in your hotels lifeguarded pool! Overnight. Evening security
is provided exclusively for your group each night from 11:00 pm
to 6:00 am.
Breakfast is in a restaurant (included). Visit Science North to
participate in science-related workshops of your choice. Lunch is
at Science North (included). Attend a film presentation in the impressive
IMAX theatre. Participate in programmes at Lake Laurentian Conservation
area (seasonal). Dinner is in a restaurant (included). Continue
with evening activities as outlined on DAY ONE.

Participate in a guided tour of the Big Nickel Mine. Students will
descend into the mine, learn more about life as a miner and study
the geology of the areas surface. Tour along the Path of Discovery
which traces the history of mining in the Sudbury Basin area. Lunch
is provided (included). Depart for your school.
AGAWA
CANYON TRAIN TOUR:
Enjoy a one-day rail excursion into the heart of the Canadian Wilderness
including a fully-narrated tour aboard picture window
coaches or scenic dome cars. Breakfast and lunch are
served while your group enjoys the breathtaking vistas of lakes,
rivers and waterfalls. This rail line was the setting for the Group
of Seven, as they travelled in box cars, painting the scenery of
Northern Ontario (seasonal service).
