the great explorer himself, this educational tour has been designed
for those visiting Quebec City for the first time. This tour also
appeals to those looking for an economical way to travel. Students
will discover and study the old city and surrounding area.

Depart
from your school. En route, your Activities Director will keep your
students active and involved. Learn about the geography, history
and culture of the areas that you pass through! Arrive in Quebec
City. Check into your chosen accommodation. Dinner is in a restaurant
(included). Participate in an Evening Lantern Walking Tour as conducted
by a ghost from the citys past! Overnight. Evening security
is provided exclusively for your group each night from 11:00 pm
to 6:00 am.
Breakfast is in a café (included). Participate in a Lower
Town walking tour and our City Exploration Rally as conducted by
your knowledgeable Activities Director. Enjoy an interactive workshop
at the Old Port Interpretation Centre. Lunch is on your own (not
included). Souvenir shopping time is allotted, supervised by teachers.
Participate in a battlefield workshop on the Plains of Abraham.
Attend a costume workshop at Artillery Park. Some students can try
on British and French soldiers uniforms that are representative
of those worn in the famous battle of 1759. Return to your accommodation
to freshen up. Dinner is in a restaurant (included). This evening,
participate in our City Exploration Rally of Old Quebec City! Overnight.
Breakfast is in a café (included). Visit le musée
de la Civilisation to learn more about Quebecois culture and history.
Lunch is on your own (not included). Enjoy a scenic countryside
driving tour along the Beaupré Coast. Your Activities Director
will discuss the seigneurial system with your students. Other highlights
include visits to: Montmorency Falls, Sainte-Anne Basilica, a copper
shop, a woodcarvers studio and île dOrléans.
Sample a traditional countryside meal complete with a taffy pull
and local entertainment (included)! Afterward, your group may choose
to enjoy a dance OR participate in our Temple & Temple Games!
Overnight.
Check out. Load luggage onto your coach. Breakfast is in a café
(included). Depart for Montreal. Enjoy a visit of Montreal (either
Old Montreal or another activity). Lunch is on your own (not included).
