programme has been designed for those groups returning to Ottawa
and looking for added variety. Our Temple and Temple Exclusive Activities
allow groups to try something different!

Depart from your school. En route, visit either Old Fort Henry,
Upper Canada Village or Fort Wellington. During your drive to Ottawa,
your Activities Director will keep your students active and involved.
Participate in our Mock Parliamentary Session your motorcoach
becomes a mini House of Commons! Arrive in Ottawa. Enjoy a guided
tour of Rideau Hall, the official residence of
Canadas Governor General. Check into your accommodation. Dinner
is in a restaurant (included). Participate in an Evening Lantern
Walking Tour of downtown Ottawa as conducted by a ghost from the
citys past! Overnight. Evening security is provided exclusively
for your group each night from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Buffet
breakfast in a restaurant (included). Visit the Supreme Court of
Canada for a guided tour. Participate in a guided tour of Centre
Block, Parliament Hill. Meet with your school ridings Member
of Parliament. Lunch (included). Participate in a bicycle tour either
along the Rideau Canal or through Rockcliffe Village. Visit the
National (art) Gallery of Canada for a guided tour. Souvenir shopping
time is allotted. Dinner is in a restaurant (included). Choose your
evening activity: Scenic cruise followed by our Much Music video
dance! Other options include a student dance at the Hard Rock Cafe,
bowling, swimming at a wave pool! Overnight.
Check out of your accommodation. Buffet breakfast in a restaurant
(included). Participate in our exclusive workshops at the Canadian
Museum of Civilization including a hands-on artist workshop. Lunch
(included). Visit the National Museum of Science & Technology.

Curriculum Note: All our Ottawa tours are designed to enhance classroom
studies. Your students will gain a greater understanding of the
causes and results of the rebellions of 1837 in Upper and Lower
Canada. They will learn more about the factors that contributed
to Canadas Confederation and analyze current issues and their
potential impact on Confederation today. They will also review our
electoral process and the ways in which the different levels of
government in Canada interact.
